The Challenge

An enterprise transportation and logistics company faced a significant operational challenge with their driver sign-in process. While they used Samsara dash cameras to enhance fleet visibility and ensure safety compliance, drivers were required to manually sign into the cameras before starting their shifts due to the company still using PeopleNet ELDs. Tivitri created a single sign-on (SSO) software script designed to bridge the gap between PeopleNet ELDs and Samsara dash cameras. With this innovative automation in place, drivers only needed to sign into PeopleNet, and the system automatically logged them into Samsara cameras. The custom SSO script streamlined the sign-in process by synchronizing the two platforms, eliminating the need for duplicate logins. The software was seamlessly integrated into their existing systems without disrupting day-to-day operations. The implementation process was swift and included testing to ensure reliability and effectiveness.
